Sachin Tendulkar apologies to would-be neighbors

Good Evening Friends, Something I can take proude on master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. He writes a letter of apologies to his would be neighbours. I think this shows his greatness as human. He allredy prove his greatness on playground. This is how great he is as human. It shows that he care for the people who are going to be his neighbours. I think this is the quality of Human. Being human we are suppose to care all who are around us.

In a gesture that has moved his would-be neighbours, Sachin Tendulkar has sent a letter apologising for the “inconvenience” caused by the construction work on a plot in suburban Bandra where he is building a new house.

Surprised by Tendulkar’s letter that was hand delivered, about 100 residents in the Perry Cross Road area, where the cricketer’s new abode is coming up, have welcomed the little master’s gesture.

“He is very humble and a true gentleman. He has not only won our hearts on the field but also moved us by this sincere gesture. We extend our full support to him,” said Yvette Gonsalves, resident of Perry Cross Road.

“Disturbance during any kind of construction work is inevitable. But Tendulkar need not worry about it. We are whole-heartedly welcoming our new neighbour,” she grinned.

Tendulkar who had bought the sprawling Dorab Villa earlier this year, is dismantling the existing structure to build a new multi-storeyed house.

The work at the site commenced two months ago.

Presently, piling work is on to prepare the foundation of the bungalow, which is expected to be ready within a year.

However the hectic construction work has drawn attention with neighbours discussing the ‘disturbance’.

“Residents of some buildings said that they could not take a nap in the afternoon and senior citizens are also being disturbed. Tendulkar’s letter has won their hearts,” said a watchman.

Local corporator Asif Zakaria applauded Tendulkar’s move. “It is good to know that such a big person understands problems of the common man”, he said.

The letter dated December 5 reads:

“My dear neighbours,

You must be aware that I have purchased a plot on Perry Cross Road, and the piling work for the construction of my house has already started. I was there at the site when the work commenced and I am aware of the noise generated by the machine. I want to reassure you that I will make sure that the work is done in a manner causing least inconvenience to all.

Your cooperation is appreciated and I look forward to moving into the neighbourhood soon.”

I salute The Decent Human Sachin Tendulkar.

‘Ton’dulkar demolishes England, India go one up

Good Evening Friends, Congratulations to Indian cricket team, my favourit Sachin Tendulkar and all my Indian cricket lovers. Indian beat England in first test match at Chennai.  My star Tendulkar hits 41st Test hundred with a swept boundary as India set a record for a victorious fourth-innings run chase on home soil to beat England by six wickets in the first cricket test.

Riding on knocks from Sachin Tendulkar (103*), Virender Sehwag (83) and Yuvraj Singh (84*), India galloped from behind to beat England by 6 wickets in the first Test at Chennai and take a 1-0 lead.

After England declared their innings on the fourth day for 386 runs, the match saw a dramatic turnaround when Sehwag went berserk to give India a fantastic start. He laid the perfect foundation for his mates to capitalize and was aptly adjudged the ‘Man of the Match’. Though he lost his wicket on Sunday, he had the match split wide open.

Guiding India to victory with a four that also fetched him his 41st Test hundred, Sachin Tendulkar on Monday rated his knock in the first Test against England among his “very, very special” centuries.

“If the team wins the 100 become very very special, so this is right among my special centuries,” said Tendulkar, who scored an unbeaten 103 to guide India to a six-wicket victory at the MA Chidambaram Stadium here.

The Mumbai batsman hoped his feat would give some happiness to the people after the recent terror attacks in his city.

“What happened in Mumbai was extremely unfortunate. Cricket cannot lessen whatever happened… I hope this 100 will give some amount of happiness to the people,” he said.

“I thank those who stood up to the terrorists and who made sure that they were captured or shot dead as the terrorists were many.

“I salute the NSG commandos, Taj hotel staff, police, public and everyone,” he said paying rich tributes to the victims of recent terror attacks in Mumbai and saluted those who salvaged the lives of others.

Tendulkar said it was a very difficult track to bat on and that made the win all the more significant.

“The gameplan was to get opportunity for scoring more and more runs because the wicket was such and we could not be bogged down by that.

“This become a very very special victory on a track where the ball was jumping awfully,” he said. more

India is going to win 5th ODI against England?

Good Evenign friends,

Time to go home now. Indiva is playing so confidently against England on 5 th ODI. I just check the score card and India is at 193/3 at end of 32 over. India need 78 more runs in remaining 18 overs. It’s less than 5 run per over average they need.

Right now Indican Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is playing with 22 run and Suresh Raina with 19. Let’s hope they lead our team towards 4 th consecutive win over England. I don’t know what’s going to happen but I hope we will win.  Before these two bastman , Sehwag and Tendulkar played exclent game and take india to a respectfull score. Sehwag out at  91 run and miss his centure just for 9 runs. While little master Sachin Tendulkar makes 50.

I will update this blog tomorrow with the news that INDIA WIN 5 th ODI against England. Let’s Hope for that. Good Night friends.

Yuvi’s princely show gives India 2-0 lead

India Win the second ODI against England today. I like to congratulate Indian cricket team as well as all my country people. Yuvraj Singh was outstanding today. He made his century this match also and took 4 wickets of England.

Yuvraj Singh clobbered his second successive century and then scalped four key wickets as India maintained their stranglehold over England by thrashing the visitors by 54 runs in the second One-dayer on Monday. Yuvraj Singh blasted his second consecutive century and grabbed four wickets to guide India to a comfortable 54-run win over England today in the second one-day international.

The Indians rode on Yuvraj’s scintillating 118 to post a competitive 292 for nine and then bundled out England for 238 in 47 overs to take a 2-0 lead in the seven-match series. England collapsed to 238 all out after Yuvraj ended a 96-run second-wicket partnership by removing Owais Shah (58) and Matt Prior (38) in successive overs before returning 4-28 bowling slow left-arm spin on a sluggish pitch.

He proved his ability as a left-arm spinner by returning dream figures of 10-0-28-4 which included the prized scalps of Andrew Flintoff, Kevin Pietersen and Owais Shah. The Punjab swashbuckler stitched 134 runs for the fourth wicket with the in-form Gautam Gambhir (70) while the lanky Yousuf Pathan provided the late sparks to the innings with an savage unbeaten 50 off just 29 balls.

Yuvraj leads India’s big win over England

Bravo for Indian cricket player Yuvi. Today India defeats England in first one day international at Rajkot. Yuvraj Singh struck the second fastest one-day century by an Indian to set up the team’s thumping 158-run victory over England in the first one-day international on Friday. Despite some fighting knocks from skipper Kevin Pietersen and Ravi Bopara, England fell short by 158 runs as India won the first One-Day International of the seven-match series in Rajkot.

The 26-year-old left-hander smashed 138 not out in just 78 balls to help India post an imposing 387 for five for their best one-day total against a test-playing nation. It was the highest total England has ever conceded and end in one of their heaviest defeats after being bowled out for 229 despite fifties by skipper Kevin Pietersen (63) and Ravi Bopara (54).

Left-arm seamer Zaheer Khan took three quick wickets in an electrifying seven-over opening spell to trigger a top-order collapse from England.

The second match in the seven-match series will be played in Indore on Monday.

Put in to bat first, Indian batsmen made merry after seeing through the first few overs. England’s nemesis Yuvraj toyed with the bowlers to raise ninth ODI hundred, his second against the visitors. Yuvraj, who was suffering from a back spasm, dealt the bowlers in boundaries, and hit sixteen 4s and six 6s in his 78-ball long outing. Everything that he hit found itself on the other side of the rope. His hundred was the second fastest ton by an Indian.

Tendulkar joins 100-catch club

My favorit start Sachine Tendulkar joins 100-catch club. It’s record for 100 number of catches in a test career. Sachin Tendulkar joined the list of players who have taken 100 or more catches in Test cricket when he pouched a dolly offered to him at mid-on by Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Brad Haddin on the last day of the fourth and final Test in Nagpur on Monday.

The batting maestro, who holds several batting records in Tests and ODIs, reached the milestone in his 154th Test to follow compatriots Rahul Dravid (179), Sunil Gavaskar (108), VVS Laxman and Mohd Azharuddin (105) into the record book.

The world record for the most number of catches in a Test career, 181 in 128 matches, stands in the name of Mark Waugh of Australia.

India regain Border-Gavaskar trophy after historic win

Good Evening friends

INDIA PROVES AGAIN. India beat Australia in fourth and final test match and wins the series with 2-0. India wins back Border-Gavaskar Trophy. India thrashed Australia by 172 runs.  This moment come for us after four years.

India on Monday gave ample proof of its status as a dominant force in world cricket as they thrashed Australia by 172 runs in the fourth and final cricket Test to regain the coveted Border-Gavaskar trophy after a gap of four years in Nagpur on Monday.

After setting the visitors a daunting target of 382 for victory, the Indians exploited a turning fifth day track to skittle out the Aussies for 209 just before the tea break to wrap up the four-match series with a 2-0 margin.

It turned out to be a perfect gift for Sourav Ganguly by his teammates in his farewell Test as they knocked out the Aussies in just about two sessions of play on the last day.

Only Matthew Hayden stood bravely amidst the ruins with a 93-ball 77 as the Indian bowlers ripped through the batting line up to bring an end to the Australian innings rather quickly.

Leg spinner Amit Mishra (4/64) and off-spinner Harbhajan Singh (3/27) were the main destructors for the hosts who made amends for losing the home series 1-2 in the 2004-05 series.

The opening Test was drawn before India thumped the world’s highest-ranked team by a huge 320 runs in the second Test at Mohali to take a 1-0 lead which they maintained coming into this Test following the drawn third encounter at Delhi.

Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who took over the reins from Kumble who retired after the third match of the series at the Ferozshah Kotla, thus continued his golden run at the helm to lead the team to a third straight win in as many matches.

He had led India to wins over South Africa, earlier this year, and at Mohali as stand-in captain for Kumble.

Sachin hits 40th Test ton, puts India in driver’s seat

Good Evening friends, another century from my favorite cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. He hit his 40th Test century. Congratulations to Sachin. Read complete update I read at yahoo india site.

Sachin Tendulkar gave glimpses of his vintage form by cracking his 40th Test century which had eluded him for long as India recovered from early jolts to push for a big total in the fourth and final cricket Test against Australia in Nagpur on Thursday.

The 35-year-old Tendulkar stole the limelight with a flurry of strokes and capitalised on two dropped catches to pull the team out of the pits and steer the visitors to a comfortable 311 for five at close on the opening day.

It was a huge relief for Tendulkar who had gone without a century for the last 15 Tests and faced some anxious moments before completing the milestone. The champion batsman had his share of luck as he was first dropped by Mitchell Johnson when on 85 and then by Brett Lee on 96 and faced some nervous moments before completing the century, his tenth against the Australians. His last century had also come against the Aussies — 153 in the fourth and final Test in Adelaide in January this year.

Tendulkar thus overtook Allan Border of Australia in the number of plus-50 scores in his career 91 (including 39 tons) as compared to the former Australian captain’s 90.

Interesting facts of Second Test between india-australia

Friends, India win second test cricket match between India and Australia at mohali. India wrap up Aussies in style and win by 320 runs. There are many more interesting facts related with this test. I like to share with you all.

What a memorable Test match this has been, Sachin Tendulkar became the highest run scorer and the first batsman to reach 12000 runs in Test cricket.

Sourav Ganguly became the fourth Indian to score 7000 Test runs before notching up his 16th Test century.

Amit Mishra became the sixth Indian to take five wickets on Test debut.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni became only the third wicket-keeper batsman and captain to make half-centuries in both the innings of a Test.

Gautam Gambhir got his first Test century in India.

And of course India registering their biggest Test match victory ever in terms of runs and it tastes sweeter as it has come against Australia. Congratulation to Team India.
