Music is interest from childhood. I love old hindi songs. Particularly from Lata Mangeshkar. Her voice is as is from the day I start hearing till today even. Her 79 th birthday was celeberated on Sunday, September 28, 2008. I like my post for her. I like to share news I read on PTI site.
India’s most revered singer melody queen Lata Mangeshkar who has mesmerised music lovers with her celestial voice for over six decades celebrated her 79th birthday with family members in her Pune home today.
Didi as she is fondly called by family, fans and admirers is rarely in Mumbai on her birthday. She stays put in her Kolhapur or Pune residence.
She was last heard in Vikram Bhatt’s “1920″ where she shared playback credits with Pandit Jasraj and Asha Bhosale.
On her 75th birthday, Lata was in Mumbai as her nephew Adinath had organised a concert where other singers sang her classic songs. The function was attended by Sharad Pawar, L K Advani among others.
Lata’s brother Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar organised a musical concert ‘Didi ani mi’ (Didi and I) at the Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir in Pune in her honour.
The legendary singer was introduced to intricacies of classical music by her father master Dinanath Mangeshkar.
After his demise, the entire responsibility of looking after the family fell on her young shoulders and at the age of 13 she was compelled to don the greasepaint and act.
She did a few Marathi films like ‘Pahili Mangalagaur’, ‘Majhe Bal’, ‘Gaja Bhau’ and even few Hindi movies like ‘Badi Maa’, ‘Jeevan Yatra’ and ‘Samudra Mandir’.
Though her playback career started in 1942, she was leaving her first tentative footprints on a music scene dominated by the legendary Shamshad Begum and Noorjehan. It was in 1948 that her career graph took giant leaps with films like Mahal, Baiju bawra, Nagin, Madhumati among others.

This post is for my readers who are interested to know the status of surrogate baby. I found following update about surrogate baby at The Yomiuri Shimbun.
The Indian Supreme Court on Monday ordered the Indian government to decide within a month whether to issue a passport or a travel certificate to a baby born to an Indian surrogate mother using a Japanese man’s sperm, according to the Indian news agency Press Trust of India.
The Japanese government intends to issue an entry visa to the girl if she obtains the passport or travel certificate.
At the court on Monday, a proxy of the Indian government said the government could issue a passport if the baby’s Indian citizenship was confirmed, and that it could issue a travel certificate if her citizenship was not confirmed.
The father of the child went to India in November to sign a contract with the surrogate mother. The egg for the in vitro fertilization was provided by another Indian woman.

Good Morning Friends, Saturday, September 27, 2008.
Day started little late today as I weak up late. I went to bed late last night as me and my wife were sitting together and after long long time we talk with free mind. We went to bed around 1-45 am. Still I was able to weak up at 5-45 am. Reach garden at 6-00 am and I walked and make my self charged for today.
Today is 4th Saturday of month; we are having medical camp at matar tomorrow. At my office we keep off on all Saturday who comes before 2nd and 4th Sunday. I stay with family and reach office around 10-00 am.
I am reading my blogs and also comments on my blog. I find one comment from one of my reader who asks me what is the status of that Surrogate baby who belong to japans parents. I try to find out the status of that baby and found that The Japanese government has indicated they will allow her entry if requested. The news I found on web is below.
A baby stuck in India in legal limbo after being born to an Indian surrogate mother for a now-divorced Japanese couple will be allowed to leave for Japan.
The Indian government said Monday it will issue a special travel document for the baby, who is stateless and not eligible for a passport.
The Japanese government has indicated it will allow her entry if requested.
The child was born July 25. A Japanese man in his 40s arranged the birth using an egg from an anonymous donor via a fertility clinic in western India. Legal problems arose when the man got divorced before the baby’s birth.
The biological father intends to raise the girl in Japan, according to sources.(IHT/Asahi: September 17,2008)

Good Afternoon,
Monday back again and day started and also week started too. Day starts with routine walk and other things. From today me and my family started to do prayer in the morning for 15 minutes only. The time is only 15 minutes but its effect is exclent. We will on this some other time.
I was reading time of india’s website and I read the following news. More technology is creating more and more problems. Wi-Fi zone is words everyone loves to hear. Now a day’s more and more net users are willing to have wi-fi zone. Read the following news.
Cyber experts say that with slight caution, such terror mails being sent by insecure internet connections can easily be avoided.
Sunny Vaghela, a cyber crime expert from Ahmedabad, says that in cities like Mumbai, it is not difficult to hunt out Wi-Fi zones.
“I was on a visit to Mumbai recently when I went to a hotel near the international airport. When I started my Wi-Fi device, to my astonishment, I found 18 connections, ready to be used. When more and more establishments convert themselves into a Wi-Fi zone, it is impossible to track the user,” he said.
However, he added that if the user himself locks his MAC, whether secure or insecure, the outside user cannot use the machine to fiddle with. “It is like a security lock that can be applied with the help of experts. It makes the router connection secure against outside attack,” he said.
A security expert from Ahmedabad added that service providers should support agencies in the nick of time where every second counts for the investigators. “In the first instance, due to lack of co-ordination, we had to wait for five hours just to get the IP,” said an official from Ahmedabad crime branch.
The expert said mail providers such as Yahoo, Google, Rediffmail and others should be given key words on the basis of which one can identify occurring words such as al and arbi used frequently by the terrorists.
“Another way is to keep tab on websites frequented by terrorist groups for interaction. If agencies can have the list of users over a period of last six months, they can have an exhaustive list of the users of the program,” said a security expert.
